Warehouse Associate

This is a light duty warehouse with a DOG on site. Nearest bus stop is a 20-30 minute walk so a car is recommended. This is a full-time position, and offers a competitive compensation at $17.50 per hour. Hours are Mon to Friday 10am-6:30pm and one Saturday a quarter. You must be able to occasionally start at 8am to help off load trailers.

Job Duties:

· Pick, and package goods for shipment and ensure completion and attachment of addressee information.

· Put away incoming stock

· Ensure stock rotation and any expired products are removed from stock

· Assist in maintaining accurate inventory.

· Assist in the organization of the product

· Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse

· Conduct inventory when requested

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be able to understand and speak English fluently

· Must have a strong attention to detail

· Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs regularly throughout the day

· Must be able to occasionally start work at 8am to off load trailers

· Must be able to organize items numerically and alpha numerically

· Must be able to follow direction and read instructions

· Must be able to work as a team-player and have the ability to positively adapt to task changes throughout the workday.

· Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

· Must be able to work in a high pace, high pressure environment

· Previous work experience in a warehousing operation an asset but not required.

We are presently seeking a Warehouse Associate to be responsible for the handling and processing of goods received and shipped by the company and the maintenance of all related records for our Calgary, Alberta operation.
