Full-time Weekday Home Support Worker Job at Private Home Support
This full-time home support position is in a lively private home providing support to a 43 y/o woman with complex physical disabilities who is dependent on a power wheelchair and requires assistance with all physical aspects of daily living. This client is creative, articulate and social. She enjoys art, a variety of ethnic foods, a good crime series and spending time with her daughter.
You are suited to this position if you are kind, reliable and patient. The right candidate is proactive with the variety of work duties, likes children, has reliable transportation, has a valid Class 5 or 4 driver's license and is physically strong and fit for lifting. No formal home support experience is necessary as training will be provided. The position is funded by Island Health through the Choices in Support for Independent Living (CSIL) program.
