Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40 repair and service facilities located across Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group.

We are actively seeking an individual that is motivated and mechanically inclined with previous down hole pump experience that would be interested in working in the bottom hole pump business at our Fort St. John, BC location.

General Responsibilities:

· Take orders over phone, design pumps for customers and record orders

· Data entry of purchase orders and pumpsheets

· Troubleshoot well problems

· Repair, service and deliver pumps as required by customers

· Assist in training new employees

· Design and trouble shoot pumps

· Adhere to safety and quality program of Q2 ALS

· Assist with cleaning shop and company vehicles

· Willing to learn with a goal to understand all shop and office responsibilities

· Build and maintain relations with both existing and potential customers

· Shop organizational skills would be an attribute (clean, tidy, organized)

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor

· Participate in On-Call schedule; schedule can vary depending on time of year and jobs that need to be covered.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Experience with bottom hole pumps required for this position

· Strong mechanical aptitude

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Have valid driver’s license

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Leadership Skills
