What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role you will:- Lead the design and implementation of numerous concurrent projects related to areas such as collective bargaining analytics, trends, and reporting, the optimization of business processes, and digital services that are both client-facing and internal.
- Propose digital business solutions that utilize modern technologies and methodologies such as lean principles, artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA) and agile project management frameworks.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Provide senior technical support on all of Labour Relations Solutions Division's digital products.
How do I qualify?
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- You have experience in developing client-facing low-code/no-code applications using platforms such as Salesforce
- You have expert knowledge of best practices in data management and are well-versed in querying and reporting on data using tools such as SQL, SAS, Crystal Reports, BOEXI
- You have programming experience related to machine learning, data cleansing/analysis, statistical modelling, and/or front-end web development
- You are comfortable with identifying and proposing efficiency gains within existing business processes through a lean lens
- You have developed implementation and testing plans to ensure seamless deployment of client solutions
- You are experienced in conducting options analyses and providing recommendations to senior management
- You are familiar with implementing knowledge management and collaboration tools across an organization
Project Management Skills:
- You have knowledge of project management methodologies
- You can plan and coordinate various technical activities, plans and schedules of project teams and determine all appropriate technical requirements, resources and cost estimates for developing, testing and implementing a wide range of client applications for situations that are often unique
Communication Skills:
- You can develop documentation on functional business requirements, high-level project plans and mapping of business processes
- You have experience presenting technical business proposals to senior management
- You have demonstrated skill in drafting written communications for a variety of audiences including senior management, internal staff, and external stakeholders
- You have experience coordinating and hosting meetings regarding business analysis, project development and implementation
Leadership and Relationship Management Skills:
- You have the ability to manage and develop effective relationships across business units and with external stakeholders
- You are able to lead and coordinate concurrent projects from inception to delivery
- You can act as the key liaison with I&IT to discuss and provide advice and guidance on business requirements, user acceptance testing, and deployment
