Truck Driver - Semi Tridem & Super B Job at W.F. Botkin Construction Ltd.
Reporting to the Foreman, our truck drivers play a key role in ensuring materials get to and from site.

Job Duties:
- Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, and compliance with application Acts and government regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and complete documentation on equipment operated
- Maneuver truck into loading and unloading positions
- Perform general maintenance on equipment to ensure vehicle is in good working order
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicle(s)
- Ensure proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Assist in the loading and unloading of truck
- Ensure cargo reaches its destination in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 2 – 4 years’ experience operating Tractor & B Train Trailer, Tractor & Tandem Dump Trailer, Tractor & Tridem Dump Trailer
- Approved for Automatic or Standard Transmission
- Valid Class 1A driver’s license with the ability to get to and from site
- Clean driver’s abstract (please attached a copy of your abstract to your application)
- Ability to perform strenuous, physical tasks on a daily basis
- High attention to detail with strong values rooted in health and safety
- Ability to work in a high paced environment with high physical demand
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toe safety boots are required
