ECE/Montessori Educator Job at Little Pioneers Academy Ltd.
We are looking for a responsible and caring teacher ECE/Montessori starting as Part-time in September and move to Full-time after Probation in our North Vancouver facility
Responsibilities
- Ensure a warm, caring and stimulating environment for children to strengthen self-esteem, independence and to nurture physical, cognitive, emotional, creative and social skills
- Organize and supervise children in playground activities in a safe manner
- Plan and manage daily programs for children ensuring it is at the appropriate age and developmental level of each child
- Assess and provide for children’s physical, emotional and cognitive needs
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Work with staff and parents to ensure the best quality of care is provided
Requirements
- Early Childhood Educator License (ECE)
- Experience working with children in a childcare/recreational setting
- Current first aid certificate and Food Safety certificate
- Canadian citizen or BC resident
- Clear criminal record check
