TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATOR – MON – FRI 11:30AM TO 8PM


Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.


Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Supply Chain Department at Cavendish Farms.


Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • University degree or College diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics and/or supply chain
  • Team player with excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft excel
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or proven ability to quickly learn daily management systems
  • Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action loads timely to ensure they are flowing smoothly through the transportation management system
  • Request rates from carriers and work with internal team to resolve any issues preventing loads from being delivered on time
  • Run daily reports and update loads as required in the system
  • Responsible for ensuring dates are changed on transfer loads.
  • Audit variances on carrier invoices
