Speech-Language Pathologist - Home and Community Care Job at Kawartha Therapy Services, Inc.
We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home assessment, consultation and treatment services for adults in Haliburton County - specifically Haliburton, Minden, Cardiff and surrounding areas. We have an increasing need for clinicians with adult population experience for swallowing, communication and stroke rehabilitation. This is a contracted pay-per-visit role through home care - we are flexible for caseload size, and availability.

We are currently seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for any of the following service areas:
- Haliburton County - any of Haliburton, Minden, Cardiff, Wilberforce, Gooderham
- Kawartha Lakes - any of Woodville, Kirkfield, Coboconk, Sebright

Qualifications required:
- MS (SLP) or equivalent
- Be comfortable working in the independent, flexible environment of home and community care
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Possess excellent organizational skills, including timely documentation and effective caseload management
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for home visiting
- Have the ability to work from home office
Assets:
- Experience with stroke rehabilitation and availability for visits 2x/week
- Experience with bedside swallowing assessments and providing education to clients/families, caregivers and facility staff
- Comfortable with use of technology (KTS uses AlayaCare as EMR)
Successful candidates will be registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. Experience in a variety of settings would be an asset.

Salary: $120.00-$1,200.00 per week
