As an Shop Helper, a typical day might include the following:

• Maintaining and cleaning the facility, equipment and work environment
• Liaise with the technician, apprentices and preppers, and other department to obtain required material
• Allocating body shop parts to the appropriate technicians when required
• Maintaining inventory of replacement parts and equipments
• Maintaining and organizing tools, equipment and materials
• Report any safety hazards to the shop manager
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assisting with keeping records of maintenance performed, parts and supplies used
• Assisting in general maintenance required by the team
• Other duties required by management

This position might be right for you if:

• Valid G license, with clean drivers abstract
• Ability to communicate with staff members, customers and other stakeholders
• Must be an excellent team-player
• Minimum 1 years of similar work experience within the Automotive Industry
• Strong ability to communicate professionally and written
• A desire to work in a high-level energy and fast-paced environment
• A high level of motivation, energy and strong customer service skills
