We are looking for a Senior Service Consultant.
As a Senior Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and Advisors. You will be a key part of the Canada Life Group Customer team and work with a variety of internal and external sales and service stakeholders to ultimately delight our customers.
What you will do
Manage and maintain Group Life and Health benefit plans for assigned clients by- Preparing both new case and amendment applications
- Participating in employee benefit education sessions
- Consulting advisors and clients during contract and (employee) booklet reviews
- Meeting with clients and advisors to review product, administrative, and claims procedures and updates
- Managing administrative billing-related issues (for example: premium-related issues including employee terminations, new employees, wage/salary changes, etc.)
- Assisting during client benefit plan administrative training sessions (on-line enrollment, billing, reporting, etc)
- Collaborate with management and claims departments to drive solutions for clients/advisors
- Work with underwriting on review and approval of routine plan changes
What you will bring
Preference will be given to applicants who have completed the Group Health and Life primer course and/or CEBS courses for the GBA designation- Experience with Group Life and Health products and processes is an asset
- Post-secondary level education and/or benefit industry experience
- Highly adaptable, driven to be your best, and proven initiative
- Proven experience providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Effective delegation and follow up skills
- Project management skills
- A valid driver’s license is required and automotive transportation
