Omnitrans is currently searching for a Project Manager to join its IT team in Montreal. As a leader in the logistic services industry Omnitrans gives you the opportunity to work in broad projects and be responsible for creating, maintaining, and growing the customer base for Omnitrans in order to meet annual objectives.

Your day-to-day:
  • Define project scope, goals, project expectations and deliverables in collaboration with IT members, management and stakeholders
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendation report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes when necessary
  • Lead full-scale project and manage development from beginning to end
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
What you bring:
  • University Bachelor’s degree
  • PMP Certification
  • 7-10 years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project.
  • Familiarity with software life cycles, databases and operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in French and English
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Familiarity with Brokerage and Logistics Operations and Systems a plus.
