Senior Back-end Developer

As Senior Back-End Developer, you will work with our teams to build out product, infrastructure, DevOps, and growth solutions. Our Senior Back-End Developers ship code to our 2 million+ active users.

The Role

- Write stable, maintainable code and meaningful documentation
- Write automated tests to thoroughly validate the correctness of your code
- Deploy software and infrastructure to support our extension
- Focus on quality, and operate iteratively to get from good to better
- Be a part of your team's on-call rotation; we all own our code end-to-end from development to deployment to operations
- Be effective in a team environment working with fellow engineers and product management
- Further your professional development in a supportive working environment with ample opportunities. Understanding our goals and using your judgment to make balanced tradeoffs

About You

- 3+ years of professional experience as a software developer
- Experience building APIs for web apps
- Experience with .NET and C#
- Experience modeling complex data and relationships in SQL
- Experience and passion for monitoring, optimization, scalability, and reliability
- Experience building, running, and scaling cloud-native applications using Kubernetes
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure, including CDNs, load balancers, databases, Kubernetes clusters, and more
- An interest in building a shared technical culture of best practices, mentorship, knowledge sharing, process improvements, documentation, and more

Bonus points for:

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Experience with DevOps and building efficient developer workflows
- A proven history of evaluating existing systems and proposing and delivering improvements that scale
- Experience mentoring and leading development teams
