We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic Receptionist for Cedar Springs PARC in North Vancouver. In this position you can practice your well-honed skills, meet enticing challenges that help move PARC and your career ahead and you’ll develop meaningful relationships with our residents and their families.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Answering the telephone and email correspondence;
- Greeting and screening visitors;
- Interacting with residents and families and responding to their needs;
- Responding to emergency situations;
- And most importantly, creating an inviting and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
Receptionist Skills and Experience:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in a receptionist position working in a similar environment with a strong focus on customer service excellence;
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate tactfully with others;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted work environment;
- Strong computer and telephone skills and experience with Microsoft Office;
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to employees, residents and their families, visitors, service providers and the public;
- Ability to respond to emergency situations and current First Aid Certificate required ;
- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families and their professional service providers.
