The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with the Operations Team and many other functions within Archmill House.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspections of Out Going Product, Ensuring Part Quality, Quantity’s, Validation against Pack List.
- Conduct Spot Audits, Product and Process
- Compile and analyze quality performance data, Inspections
- Develop graphs, charts and quality reports
- Conduct, in-process and final inspections when required
- Work with operations team on reducing scrap and rework.
- Assist and Creating Quality Documentation and instructions for new processes when required
- Work through NCR’s with cross functional Team Members throughout the business
- Creation and Updates for Internal Documentation for the AQS (Archmill Quality System)
- Work with Manager and Process Technicians to ensure all documentation and processes work with AOS systems.
- Any other reasonable duties as instructed by your supervisor and to abide by your contract terms, always acting in a professional manner.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of experience on Quality Control (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of ISO-9001
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and reporting
- Experience in process quality control and product testing
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Graphing, Access)
- Basic knowledge Millwork Terminology and general understanding of assembly processes
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma process improvement concepts (i.e. root cause analysis) would be an asset.
- Must hold a current driver’s license (traveling to our Brantford location would be required time to time)
- Able to work from the Ancaster location each day
