Program and Quality Management Coordinator

Along with the Program Manager, the Program and Quality Management Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre is delivering a high level of service. The Coordinator maintains strong relations with community groups and agencies working on common clients related issues, other staff and volunteers to provide an effective and efficient programs. This individual will create metrics with which they will measure the quality services in all Centre programs. The incumbent participates in the overall activities of the Centre. All duties will be carried out in accordance with program policies and procedures and the mission of the Centre.

  • Provide direction and leadership to the Front line services teams
  • Develop a framework and implement measures for quality assurance in all aspects of the programs.
  • Coordinate, maintain and evaluate all aspects of service delivery across the Centre
  • Assist in the creation and development of organizational objectives and monitor and report on their progress.
  • Identify community service gaps and service delivery issues;
  • Work in partnership with volunteers, community groups and service providers to ensure adequate resources are coordinated and developed;
  • Assist in service evaluation;
  • Work with team members to promote quality services and address client issues.
  • Participate with all team members in assessing client skills and evaluating planned interventions/programs when support is required;
  • Participate with all team members in making decisions surrounding clients’ service needs when support is required.
  • Participate in the design & review of work porcessess that impact service delivery
  • Handle the complaint process of clients and their families to ensure that all quality measures are being followed.
  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecast of annual levels of service.
  • Submit reports and statistical data to the Program Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Community college diploma in social work, gerontology or a related field; A combination of education & experience will be considered as equitably.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in social and health services including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Experience in program development, delivery and evaluation
  • Knowledge of, and familiarity with the continuum of care including community social and health services and the resources available in the community
  • Ability to effectively manage interpersonnal relationships related to the delivery of quality services
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
  • Ability to use client information systems, spreadsheet and word processing software in a Microsoft Office Environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Possess an egalitarian attitude towards gender, race, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, social-economic status, etc.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is mandatory.
  • Valid driver license, access to a vehicle insurance, adequate insurance coverage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
