Our client manufacturers and provides their products in a global market and employ highly skilled talent for their Brantford/Paris facility. They are looking for an Industrial Painter to join their team.

The role:

• Responsible for prepping and painting the surfaces of heavy equipment.

• Select paint or mix paints using paint mixing equipment according to a pre-determined formula

• Mix and apply a variety of industrial coatings to metal products, using hand-held spray guns/equipment in confined spaces

• Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes/rollers

• Prep product - clean, wash, strip, sand, blast, remove corrosion, fill dents, and prepare items for application of paint or protective coatings

• Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment

• Assist to appropriately rig large objects for the purpose of moving them in the process of applying the industrial coatings

• Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing to the supervisor.

You will be a good fit if you have/are:

• Must have a High School Diploma

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with heavy equipment

• Must have reliable transportation and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
