Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant Job at Ophthalmology Clinic
We are looking for an enthusiastic full time Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician for a solo practicioner Ophthalmology office located on the Bloor Subway line in East York. The position includes assisting the Doctor pretesting on clinic days and doing ocular testing on other days.
Some of the Ophthalmic Job responsibilities include:
- Taking patient's history, administering eye drops, IOP with Tonometer, pretesting with Auto Refraction, use of the Lensometer to check glasses prescription.
- Biometry testing - IOL Master and A Scan
- Visual Field, OCT and HRT testing
- Assistance with Surgical bookings.
