This position will result in improved reliability of auxiliary equipment and systems through the completion of preventative maintenance schedules, routine inspections, routine repairs and inventory control. The successful applicant will provide support for projects and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, utilizing the skills acquired through participation in the apprenticeship program for an Industrial Millwright.

Your qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong computer, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain a valid forklift certificate.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Goal and results oriented. Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates an understanding and application of 5S and ISO procedures.
• Able to participate in the apprenticeship program as an Industrial Millwright on day release or block release.
• Able to participate in internal/external training (possibly outside of province/US).
• Must write and pass the provincial certification exam upon completion of schooling.
