- Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment.
- Working knowledge with multiple equipment not limited to CAT, Hitachi, Forklifts, Skid Steers etc.
- Maintain and repair heavy diesel, CNG, gas and electrically operated equipment and vehicles. (CNG training provided)
- Experience with engine drive, train structure, welding, hydraulics & electrical malfunctions.
- Experience with diagnostics for large equipment.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Utilize a variety of power and hand tools and equipment.
- Possess, provide and maintain tools necessary to perform tasks related to maintenance on heavy/hydraulic equipment.
- Is reliable, responsible for your work & have the right attitude to perform assigned tasks.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
- Basic mechanical experience with forklifts, skids steer, large equipment and/or a yellow iron mechanic an asset
- 3rd or 4th year apprentice welcome to apply
- Experience in mining and/or construction equipment repair & maintenance preferred
- Basic tool set required
- Good to have i nspection license / CDL preferred, cutting torch ticket, fall arrest
- Experience using diagnostic software
- Must be computer literate, can be trained on software systems and have the willingness to learn.
- 10 hours/ 8 hours shift
- Day or Night shifts available
