Maintenance Electrician

Position Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: Maintenance

Position Location: Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada

Salary Range: According to terms of CBA

Position Summary: Maintenance Electrician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adherence to all company safety policies
• Maintain and upkeep plant equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
• Complete all assigned work in a timely manner
• Actively participate in the emergency response team
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program with provided tablet
• Other duties as assigned

General Qualifications/Experience:

• Journeyperson Electrician ticket licensed in Alberta (required)
• Good working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
• 3-5 years’ experience working on industrial electrical equipment

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

· PLC programming and control systems

Certificates & Licenses:

· Journeyperson Electrical certificate (required)

· Confined Space entry, Fall Protection, Forklift Operator, Genie Boom Operator, First Aid, any other safety related tickets an asset

Work Environment/Conditions: Manufacturing environment with a regular Monday to Friday work schedule. Must be able to work shift work. Occasional overtime may be required. Position is in a unionized environment.
