Do you have experience of industrial sewing machines
Our client, an industry leading manufacturer working with the department of National defence & various outdoor adventure businesses is looking to hire multiple industrial sewing machine operators with a minimum of one year of experience to join their team. It’s a full-time permanent opportunity (40 hours per week) working days, Mon-Fri.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Industrial Sewing Operators will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial sewing machines (button holer or button sewer, double needle machine, multi-needle machine, serger or overlock, tacker or bartack etc).
What we offer:
1. $16.30 - $17.75 per hour
2. Clean, safe and friendly working environment

What you do:
1. Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
2. Use of sewing guides and tension devices
3. Inspect and verify equipment is running properly
4. Maintain customer quality requirements and specifications
Who you are:
1. Minimum 12 months of prior, stable experience operating an industrial sewing machine
2. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
3. Willing to take a criminal background check.
4. Work efficiently as a team player and be able to work under minimal supervision.
5. Effective in communication.
6. Problem solver with excellent organizational skills.
