Lifecycle Marketing Manager

We want our customers’ experience with Riversol Skincare to be nothing short of exceptional. And because of this we are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for helping provide that exceptional experience, while driving growth and engagement across our channels, including email and SMS.

You will focus on analyzing all aspects of the customer journey and developing growth marketing strategies to help us achieve our acquisition, retention and engagement goals to increase revenue. Your work will include creating marketing programs that will engage with new and existing customers.

You are good with analytics and financial modeling. You’re also able to think creatively about where, when, and how to engage with our customers who are primarily women over 45. You’ll work cross-functionally to bring lifecycle marketing strategies and programs to life.

At Riversol we also market the Midnight Paloma brand. There will be responsibilities here as well, likely ~10% of your time to start.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a data-informed, customer-centric CRM strategy and approach, including customer segmentation, propensity modeling and customer journey optimization
  • You will work closely with the copywriter and head of marketing to drive lifecycle marketing efforts including the development and execution of email, SMS & Direct Mail campaigns for leads and customers
  • Analyze all aspects of our user journey, using insights to develop a strategic roadmap and execute campaigns with a focus on segmentation and content personalization
  • Consistently measure, report, and educate the leadership and marketing team of campaign performance, adjusting strategy and content as needed
  • Manage member rewards program and referral program to drive repeat and new purchases
  • Work with the marketing team to drive A/B testing and iterations within email, SMS, chat campaigns and more
  • Act as liaison between customer service lead and Head of Marketing to ensure alignment with the customer experience
  • Drive the creation of plans, tactics, and initiatives that support and influence a customer-centric company-wide culture and operationalize our CX vision and principles
  • Identify customer insight gaps and partner with our HoM and Customer Service team to better understand our customer needs and translate into strategies and tactics
  • Explore opportunities to improve our ways of engaging with our customers, including better tooling, increased automation, and personalization
  • Collaborate with key marketing team members on content marketing initiatives to increase organic traffic over time

About you:

  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in ecommerce
  • Exceptionally strong platform experience with Klaviyo and an ability to keep our deliverability in excellent condition
  • Demonstrated success in developing and analyzing lifecycle marketing programs, specifically across email campaigns
  • Experience in coordinating creative work including how to connect customer stories to different journeys both on and off site
  • Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and execute to improve performance
  • Able to gain alignment, and drive initiatives forward in a highly collaborative environment
  • You’re easy to work with. This means you’re flexible, you know how to compromise, you understand that everybody makes mistakes and that working with people who are easy to get along with makes all the difference in the world.

Job Details

  • Compensation. This position pays $125,000 - $135,000 (negotiable, based on experience).
  • Location. Onsite at our Vancouver, BC office (Railtown) – hybrid/remote work is an option.
  • Full Time. Monday-Friday
  • Medical and dental benefits after a 3-month probationary period.
  • Vacation. 2 weeks to start.
