Mount Kidd RV Park located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Kananaskis Country, Alberta, is hiring for their 2023 summer season.

Seasonal Positions run from the beginning of May to the end of September with flexibility in start and end dates. Staff accommodations are available within walking distance of the workplace. Staff accommodations include private room, with kitchen, family room and washrooms being shared space. Accommodations are free of charge. Couples are welcome to apply together. Maintenance/Janitorial

Possibly the position with the greatest variation in responsibilities throughout the day; one hour you might be cleaning a washroom, the next you could be cleaning campsites or completing general maintenance. Our Maintenance and Janitorial team should take pride in ensuring Mount Kidd RV Park looks as beautiful as absolutely possible through their continuous upkeep and cleaning of washroom facilities and the campground as a whole.

Responsibilities

+ Be friendly and welcoming with the guests

+ Committed to excellence regarding the cleanliness of the entire campground

+ Clean campsites and fire pits

+ Collect garbage

+ Replace picnic tables and fire pits

+ Clean washrooms/shower houses

+ Clear fallen trees

+ Ensure camper satisfaction with the campground’s conditions

+ General maintenance of the campground

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Upbeat and positive personality

+ Good organization skills

+ Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

+ Attention to detail

+ Patience with repetitive tasks

+ Time management skills

+ Experience with basic tools

+ Experience using lawn mowers and other motorized vehicles

+ Working knowledge of the facility, services and local area

+ Required to obtain a drivers abstract in order to drive company vehicles (applicants for the Maintenance/Janitorial position must have a valid Drivers License)

+ Required to obtain a Criminal Record check upon acceptance of position
