Personal Support Worker

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Schedule:

• 4 hour shifts between 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm three days a week falling between Monday-Friday

Before You Apply, Do You Qualify?

• MUST be fluent in Italian
• 1 year of working experience as a PSW, Health Care Aide, Nursing Student
• PSW or Health Care Aide certificate or International Nursing degree
• You can pass a criminal background check?
• You can reliably commute to client & assist?

Your Duties!

• Engaging in Companionship & Conversation
• Standby assist
• Mobility, Light walking or exercise
• Meal Preparation / Medication Reminders
• Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Light housekeeping
• Experience with transfers – use of a mechanical lift or Hoyer lift is ideal
