Specializing in Mechanical Design Systems for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression, we have completed thousands of projects in a range of industries. With offices in Victoria, Nanaimo and Vancouver, our team is growing, and we are looking to add to our complement of skilled and knowledgeable Engineering design professionals.

The Position

Avalon Mechanical Consultants Ltd. currently has an opening for a new Mechanical Technologist in our Nanaimo office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Revit and AutoCAD as well as producing construction documents, plans, and calculations for mechanical building systems (fire suppression, plumbing, and HVAC).

Compensation for this position to be discussed with applicants on an individual basis.

Candidate Requirements:

· Completion of a Mechanical Technology Diploma in B.C.

· Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

· Positive attitude and an ambition to learn

Ideal Candidates will possess the following:

· AutoCAD and Revit proficiency

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Drafting and design of fire suppression, HVAC, and plumbing systems for renovations and new constructions
