- You've completed Grade 10 or have an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
About St. John Hospice
St. John Hospice is a 14-bed hospice with a home-like setting and 24-hour nursing care. We offer supportive end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses.
St. John Hospice is located at UBC, and is operated by Providence Health Care staff. We have a team of experienced care providers including nurses, doctors, counsellors and a pastoral care provider, as well as a large group of volunteers to provide extra support.

You will report directly to the Housekeeping supervisor, and your responsibilities will include:
- Performing daily cleaning
- Disinfecting all high contact elements and surfaces
- Cleaning and disinfecting inpatient and resident rooms
- Replenishing supplies
- Maintaining related equipment in accordance with established procedures
- Transporting linens, equipment and furniture using appropriate equipment
