The Interior Landscape Group, a female-owned local company, has over 40 years of experience within the GTA. ILG looks after indoor horticultural needs for local companies/individuals. We provide regular service to our customers where our fully trained technicians come and water, trim and service plants.

ILG provides services for new installations, arrangements and updates. We complete pesticide, pruning and switching from summer to winter plants and poinsettias during the holiday season.

Our expert and trained technicians are able to work quietly and effectively within a variety environments to look after horticultural needs with the least disruptions and no mess. We service commercial offices, malls, restaurants, private homes and more.

ILG is looking for a General Manager to lead the team of commercial indoor plant technicians. This vital role partners with our tremendous customers and our employees to bring green space & beauty to companies in the greater Toronto area.

Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Service routes
  • Supervise technicians
  • Pesticide applications
  • Pruning seasonal
  • Timesheet review and compilation
  • Prospect businesses, provide quotes and foster sales (to new and existing customers)
  • New installations
  • Ordering plants and containers
  • Review technician routes and assign new routes
  • Review technician expenses
  • Site inspections
  • Troubleshooting
  • Large tree pruning

Qualifications:

  • Ontario Driver’s License in good standing
  • Criminal background check required
  • Horticulture background
  • Exterminator license and assets (preferred)
  • Administrative experience
  • Organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Pesticide License (preferred)
  • Preferred experience in sales

Experience, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Able to navigate your way through sticky situations and aren’t afraid to send an email or pick up the phone in follow-up to business/customer needs
  • Can connect with all types, from easy customers or employees to those with difficult personalities
  • You think big and are willing to jump into new and exciting client scenarios

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
