FREELANCE ONLINE ENGLISH TEACHER

Global TALK Education Inc. is currently seeking part-time English teachers to join the ELS division team. We are seeking highly motivated and career driven professionals who can teach English online, 1 to 1 and small group classes for adult students.

Requirements

• Teaching qualification (TEFL/CELTA/DELTA / Trinity Diploma or English as a Foreign Language teaching qualification equivalent)
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a 3-4 year accredited University (English, Education, ESL highly preferred)
• Minimum of two years proven teaching experience with adult learners.
• Specialized training or experience in areas, but not limited to the following: General English, IELTS, business, and communicative skills.
• Knowledge on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) descriptors. (Preferred but not required)
• Native or C2/Advanced level of English.
• Desktop computer or a laptop with a webcam to deliver classes through Google Meet.
• Stable Wi-Fi connection or a cable internet connection.
• Headset (recommended)

Tasks

• Ensuring quality teaching and effective learning of English.
• Assessing and providing constant feedback throughout the course, whether in the Meet sessions or through practical work and written evaluations.
• Keeping up with administrative tasks, such as attendance sheet completion.
