About the Opportunity
LRO Staffing is working with an Ottawa based, family owned, civil contractor in search of a Foreman to join their team.
At nearly 30 years in business, the company has grown quickly in the last few years especially due to their relationships, reliability and ambitious family leadership - now in its second generation of management.
Working as a subcontractor for some of the biggest General Contractors in the area, their services focus on general groundworks, deep excavations and building site preparation.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous on-site management experience in civils projects up to $500k - $1m in total value
- Essential skills & experience:
- Experience in deep excavations and enabling work
- Experience managing teams on site
- Experience using Topcon products to assist in surveying and setting-out
About the Job
Led by dedicated and hard-working individuals, the team is driven to succeed and grow, but also has a great family business mentality. There is support available with senior staff to help candidates get up to speed with their systems and processes, but ultimately the team needs a self-starter, with enough experience to hit the ground running.
Compensation will be dependent on experience, but this position typically pays $35-$40/h along with competitive benefits.
