Dispatcher Job at Simcoe Building Centre
Simcoe Building Centre in Bracebridge, which is apart of the Simcoe Block (1979) Ltd family. We are looking to fill the position of a full time dispatcher to look after our fleet of trucks and oversee all daily delivers. As a dispatcher you will be working very closely with our other locations in order to ensure that deliveries are being met on time, transfers are being completed and our trucks are staying in amazing shape.
You will be working alongside our drivers and yard laborer's to ensure that both the correct product is on the truck but also that our drivers are delivering in a timely manner.
Job Duties:
- Oversee all deliveries from our Bracebridge location
- Work with other departments to ensure our customers are receiving their order on time.
- Maintaining and overseeing the quality of the delivery trucks.
- Planning out daily delivery schedules.
- Staying in constant communication with the drivers
- Early start times. These times can vary.
Qualifications:
- AZ or DZ Driver's License is an asset.
- 1-2 years of dispatching experience.
- Heavy lifting, must be able to at least lift up to 50lbs.
- Reliable
- Leadership skills.
- Clean driving abstract.
- Must be able to work long hours.
