Employability Skills 4 Youth invites you to learn more about securing a role as a Concierge / Security Guard. No previous experience or license is required!
During the program we assist you in getting your start in the Security Industry by:
- Providing basic training to apply for your license
- Helping you set goals and learn how to achieve them
- Giving you job search, resume writing and interviewing skills
- Introducing you to our employer partners in order to get you employed
To qualify for the security role, you must have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read/write/speak English at a working level
- A willingness to work any shift
- A working knowledge of computer application skills
Employability Skills 4 Youth is a non-profit, federally funded program designed to help unemployed persons find and keep employment. You must be a youth, a permanent resident or Canadian Citizen, be unemployed or underemployed and be willing and able to participate in the program.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
