The Burger’s Priest is looking for an energetic individual to join their marketing team as a Community and Events Intern. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Community and Events Intern will be responsible for developing positive, on-going relationships with community organizations on behalf The Burger’s Priest. The Community and Events Intern will work on executing a marketing action plan consisting of local store marketing tactics to help drive sales to the restaurant and brand in the community.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Help bring The Burger’s Priest brand to life in the community through events and local store marketing initiatives.
- Build positive, on-going relationships with local businesses, schools, sports teams and community organizations.
- Effectively ‘Chase the Sale’ and educate the local community about The Burger’s Priest brand, concept and programs.
- Identify and capitalize on key opportunities in the community to raise the profile of the brand & increase the sales.
- Manage contact database and submit weekly tracking sheets.
- Respond to any feedback, comments from guests.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Some education or in public relations, sales or marketing
- Experience in a restaurant an asset
- Event planning experience an asset
- Must have own vehicle or transportation
