Role: Cloud DevOps Developer
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration- Long Term
Roles and Responsibility
1.CI/CDpipeline – build new and modify existing Jenkins pipeline to include new microservices when created for dev team (generates docker image) and devops (generates helm package) to be used for deployment in k8s-management repo
2. Helm - Migrated existing charts into a single standard chart. Modify this single chart to include new micro services when required with their configurations
3.Git - all helm changes can be found in cpp-helm repo for source control and k8s changes are done in k8s-management repo. Any changes for AWS services accounts done in CloudServiceTemplate repo
4.Deploy given docker image to k8s management repo for the required service
5.Create any AWS resources and link them as required to the respective services
6.Assist with logs in NPE env using existing tools when Dynatrace is unavailable
7.Restart/Delete/Stop microservices as required for testing purposes
8. Strong communication skills and working experience with multiple stakeholders
9.Modify env variables/tags in microservices as required for testing purposes.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Regina, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
