Algonquin Pines Campground is a family campground located between Huntsville and Algonquin Provincial Park. Our stunning park has been recently updated and sits beneath towering Pine Trees with on-site trails and just a short drive to a nearby beach. We offer an exciting, youthful work environment.
Job description
The campground attendant is responsible for carrying out a number of duties, including but not limited to: working in the camp store (campers registration, over the phone bookings etc.), general grounds clean up, cleaning public washrooms etc. Must be willing to work flexible hours based on busy times; mainly evenings and weekends.
Customer Service
- Answer phone calls
- Check-in guests
- Cash guests out in the store
- Complete new bookings over the phone
- Greeting guests throughout the park when out and about
- Over the phone reservations
General Maintenance
- Grounds maintenance including watering plants, weeding, litter pick up etc.
- Ensure campsites are ready for next check-in
- Cleaning the cabin and glamping tents
- Maintaining cleanliness of camp bathrooms, office, laundry rooms, playground, sports courts and public areas
Other
- Delivering fire wood
- Potential On-Call opportunity for campers inquiries
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week
Salary: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
