- The Driver is responsible for ensuring that all Strait Area Clients get to their destination safely and in a timely manner
- Being part of a strong team that supports the professional development of all staff that reports to the Executive Director
- Ensure that the vehicle is safe, clean, and presentable and fill in appropriate logs prior to driving for the day / after finishing all runs.
- Greet passengers in a friendly, respectful manner.
- Collect fares, and properly record them.
- Properly record passenger pickup information.
- Ensure safe operation of the SAT vehicle, and comfortable, friendly transportation for all passengers.
- Ensure Vehicle is fueled.
- Ensure vehicles have been properly sanitized after all clients.
- Drivers are responsible to clean / disinfect the vehicle at the end of each shift to ensure that it is safe for the following day’s runs.
- The Driver reports to the Executive Director for all matters other than day to day dispatch questions which will be directed to the Dispatcher.
- The Driver shall also be responsible to carry out any other reasonable task set out for them by the Executive Director.
