Retail Sales Associate- Budtender
About Northern Budzz:
Northern Budzz Inc. is a family run Licensed Retail Dispensary of Cannabis based in Beeton, Ontario.
Calling all cannabis enthusiasts, from novice to connoisseur. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the retail sales associate/budtender will maintain a comfortable fun experience for customers and employees alike by providing excellent product knowledge in a friendly atmosphere.
Primary Accountabilities:
We are looking for responsible, trustworthy individuals who are passionate about cannabis culture and want to be a part of a team committed to exemplifying a modern cannabis culture without the dated stigmas and stereotypes. Confidence, dedication and integrity are key when considering applicants. Basic cannabis product knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Excellent conversational skills and minimum 2 years of customer service is ideal but not required.
Budtenders must exude a positive, professional, welcoming energy at all times while educating customers on responsible use and correctly processing all transactions through software. The individual must be able to maintain their composure and offer exceptional customer experience in a high volume setting.
Ensure customers experience in a clean, safe store that promotes easy movement and a comfortable inclusive environment.
Applicants will be responsible for obtaining a police background check, worker security verification for retail cannabis workers and any additional mandatory certifications outlined by the Province of Ontario including CannSell Certification.
Responsibilities also include: Maintaining cleanliness and organization of POS counters during shift. Ensure thorough yet efficient transactions with each guest in a high volume setting. Adhere to all training, operational standards, and procedures. Educating guests on products and responsible use.
Strong verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrate high levels of integrity and personal responsibility. Trustworthy and ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time - Weekend and Evenings required
$16/hr Pay
