Airdrie based employer looking to hire warehouse worker. Duties include operating a baling machine, unloading trucks by hand, loading outbound containers, and providing assistance to production staff. Please note this is a physically demanding job, so applicants need to be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and stand all day.

Applicants must be self motivated and able to manage their time and complete tasks without supervison.

Ideal applicant would have a Class 5 License, with experience driving a 16 foot cube van, in order to pull trucks up for offloading, and occasional deliveries. Forklift experience is needed.

Patience in dealing with poorly packaged donations is a must. Good communications skills and ability to work cooperatively within a diverse work force, either independently or in a team. Must have good character/attitude, and be able to follow instructions and work in an efficient, reliable and honest manner. Hours of work would include 4 weekdays and Saturday, from 7:00am-3:00 or 8:30-4:30. Flexibility in days and shifts is required. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO AIRDRIE RESIDENTS.
