Magna Golf Club, one of Canada's most exclusive clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is currently looking for a friendly, professional, and extremely organized individual to join our Grounds Maintenance team as a seasonal
Administrative/HR Assistant. The successful candidate will be able to work 20-30 hours a week from April 1 - mid-November each season.
What we are looking for:
- Candidates MUST be available weekdays, part-time (20-30 hours/week) from April 1 to mid-November.
- Strong administrative skills and computer skills using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task and respond to changing needs in a busy environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous demonstrated experienced.
What you will be doing:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the ground’s maintenance department office
- Assist in maintaining employee files and records
- Coordinate with the human resources department on employee requirements and training
- Assist with new employee orientation, including training and payroll documents
- Manage inventory of staff uniforms
- Manage inventory of office and cleaning supplies
- Daily audit of employee timecards in ADP payroll
- Ensure staff training documents are current and uploaded into their training portal
- Work closely with Human Resources on all outstanding and upcoming employee related events
- Other duties as assigned and required by management.
