Summary of the Role
Responsible for developing and executing ERIKS CNC Flow Control (CNC) sales, margin and end user approvals strategy to achieve corporate strategic goals specific to conventional Oil &Gas markets. Expected territory (subject to change based on candidate): Red Deer North to Ft. McMurray and everything East of Athabasca to Saskatchewan border. 30-50% travel requirement.
Responsibilities
· Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
· Manages assigned sales territory, complete with goals, objectives and performance measurement.
· Analyzes and reports on sales and margin performance of product focus
· Achieves revenue and gross margin targets for the business unit and respective CNC "A" Brand and "Own" Brand products.
· Achieves and maintains end user approvals for CNC "A" & "Own" brand products.
· Develops and engages in Producer / EPCM / OEM / Distributor relationships to understand and resolve customer needs, as well as identify and execute sales growth opportunities.
· Develops and implements CNC strategic sales growth plans and budgets to achieve business unit goals as determined through participation in annual budget processes.
· Provides accurate and timely sales and gross margin monthly forecasts.
· Develops relevant market / customer / competition data and executes analysis of data into meaningful report to support and grow business unit goals.
· Supports and assists in the development of strategic pricing policies, margin growth, inventory mix and customer relationships.
· Delivers sales and technical product presentations to customers (producers, EPCM’s, OEM’s & Distributors) for the development and execution of sales.
· Works with end users to understand specific valve application needs and develop appropriate solutions.
· Coordinates with other functional CNC business units to support and achieve budgeted sales and strategic objectives.
· Prepares daily call reports & weekly summary reports reflecting orders, sales efforts, key developments & market conditions.
Skills and Abilities
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong listening and presentation skills.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
· Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Power Bi and Outlook.
· Experience in performing to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
· Hands-on and Can-do attitude.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree preferred
· Five (5) plus years of relative industry sales and marketing experience within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin
· Strong preference to those with direct valve or conventional market experience with a robust network of contacts enabling you to hit the ground running.
· Willingness to travel assigned territory as required.
