At our Cambridge Facility we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.
Job description - Welder
AFT Shift : Monday to Thursday 4:00pm -2:00am
Compensation: Starting rates between $22-$25 based on experience
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Able to weld with MIG and Stick to required specifications
- Communicate and work with co-workers to develop fixture concepts.
- Perform fitting, welding, grinding duties as required.
- Work independently or as a team member.
- Work from complex drawings; perform all layouts, fitting and assembly of intricate fabrications and parts.
- Ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specifications and fit as required keeping in mind consumables and tolerances.
- Perform layout and fit-up checks.
- Blueprint reading and GDT
