Connect is a family owned company in Waterloo that supplies infrastructure products and equipment to the Telecommunications market. We are seeking a warehouse associate to join our team! This role involves assembly, packing and shipping of goods as well as receiving, counting and verifying of inbound goods. Periodic heavy lifting/pulling of up to 100lbs. (with assistance), bending and reaching/stretching along with use of hand held power tools. A mature attitude, honesty, team player, and a positive "can do" personality coupled with with good communication skills are all highly desirable. Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English. Counterbalance forklift experience and receiving experience is an asset.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assemble orders: including installing components using hand tools (such as screwdrivers, power drills etc.)
• Pick/Pack items as required and skid/band products
• Replenish stock locations as required
• Assist in loading of outbound orders
• Assist in receiving when required - unloading of trucks, verifying of goods, etc.
• Assist with cycle counting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics and general warehouse functions such as: pick, pack, shipping, and receiving
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks that may require light to heavy lifting (up to 100+lbs with assistance)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong command of the English language
• Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
• Good Math Skills are essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
