Mountainside Animal Hospital & 24 Hour Emergency, located in beautiful and vibrant North Vancouver, BC is seeking a positive, upbeat and all-round awesome human to fill our brand new role of Referral and Operations Coordinator. As an integral member of our hospital leadership team, the incumbent will work to cultivate and nurture a positive ongoing relationship with the referral community; including regularly visiting and communicating with key personnel to determine how Mountainside can best support them. In this multi-faceted role, the successful candidate will also perform a mixture of operations support tasks such as leading the hospital’s health and safety committee, overseeing and maintaining the hospital’s medical equipment, scheduling of Veterinarians and assisting in arranging absenteeism coverage, as well as acting as a back-up for payroll processing. In time, this role will also handle the hospital’s accounts payables and receivables among other accounting functions.

As you can see, this role is quite unique and will require the ability to not only communicate exceptionally well with the utmost of professionalism and tact, but also the ability to problem solve and remain organized, self-motivated and pro-active. Due to the nature of the role, access to a car and maintaining a current driver’s license is required. *Only those candidates with previous experience in the Veterinary Industry will be considered*
