Exciting practice management opportunity at our independently-owned practices in Woodstock!

Woodstock Veterinary Hospital and its sister-clinic, Harris Animal Hospital are looking for an addition to their management team!

This is an opportunity to exercise leadership, organizational and communication skills in order to help build and train a growing healthcare team.

Our practices consist of 3 full time veterinarians and over 20 team members to support them. Each of us take pride in the level of care we provide to both our patients and our clients. In the coming year we will be embarking on an expansion project that will combine both practices, allowing us to care for more patients, advance our services and enhance team satisfaction- all under one roof.

The practice manager would be responsible for influencing, motivating and providing feedback to our team on a daily basis, developing and maintaining hospital policies and procedures; overseeing inventory, client communication, and team performance; and would help build and enhance our organizational structure to ensure our human resources are efficient and productive.

Our ideal candidate will have highly-developed communication and leadership ability in order to optimize employee engagement and enhance levels of service and productivity. They will hold demonstrated ability to influence and manage change, manage competing priorities with initiative and resourcefulness and would thrive in an environment that is client-centred and driven by care and compassion. Formal post secondary education in human resource, business, animal science or marketing would be ideal and past veterinary hospital experience would be an asset.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and consist of an attractive base salary with additional bonus structure, full health benefits and a healthy continuing education allowance.
