Universal Workers at St. Elizabeth Retirement Residence foster exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team to deliver holistic care to our residents with a focus on accuracy, quality and meeting our residents’ quality of life requests.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning; floors, walls, bannisters and other common surfaces.
• Screening visitors; ensuring everyone signs in and symptom free, providing directions for visitors and staff taking COVID Rapid tests
• Occasional meal delivery and assistance
• Assisting with laundry services; residents and facility
• Be excited by our objectives, our philosophy and the values that shape all aspects of life as part of Zest Communities.
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
• Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of this role

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Experience in healthcare preferred
• First Aid / CPR certificate preferred
• Responsible individual capable working alone or team environment
• Self-starter, takes the initiative to start tasks and pride in work
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team
