PERFORMANCE TECHNICAL STAFF COACH
Position: Full-time (40 hours per week), Permanent
Location: Dartmouth, NS

OVERVIEW
United DFC is seeking a full time Performance Staff Coach. This position will report to the
Director of Soccer to improve our Pre-Performance and High-Performance Program offerings in
Youth and Senior Programs. A successful candidate would spend time between on-field
coaching and planning, organization and execution. Preference will be afforded for individuals
possessing licensing in excess of the National C License, but a combination of licensing and
experience will be considered. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
Successful candidates will be interviewed and required to submit footage, or lead a live training
session to demonstrate coaching competency. The successful individual will report to the
Director of Soccer, with emphasis on developing our Pre-performance, Youth and Senior AAA
and AA programs.
This is a dynamic environment, and the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, flexible
and collaborative. Work schedules will include a requirement to be on the field on evenings and
weekends, working to ensure programs are running smoothly.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- On-field Coach within the club’s AAA and AA Programs (Youth and Senior)
- Facilitating movement from Pre-performance into High Performance
- Recruitment/Retention of AAA and AA Coaches
- Player assessment oversight
- Assistance in developing seasonal plans and curriculums
- Ensure coach accountability for assessments, seasonal plan, etc.
- Facilitate training/assessment opportunities for players between program levels and
- Assistance with Coach Development and Individualized Development Planning in
- Build awareness for the club’s AAA programs, commitment, pathway, opportunities,
showcases, etc.

- Work with DOS to increase the caliber of the Senior Performance stream
- Assist in the development and execution of UDFC Player Pathway from Active Start
