We are searching for a Tech Intern with the possibility of extending the position after the internship is over.

Lillian Wild Bridal is a local Wedding Gown manufacturer in Kelowna, British Columbia and are looking for a Marketing Graduate. This position is funded through the ‘Digital Skills for Youth Program' and the chosen candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Be between the ages of 15 and 30, inclusive, at the start of the internship

• Be a post-secondary graduate related to our position

• Not be in receipt of EI during the course of the work placement

• Be legally entitled to work in Canada as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status at the start of the internship

• Not be an immediate family member of the recipient or Employer

• Be a new hire for the Employer

• Reside in Kelowna BC and work at our location

• Self-assess as underemployed, meaning they are employed below their level of education and/or hold part-time employment, or are unemployed

• Not have completed a DS4Y work placement in their lifetime, and

• Not be a co-op student

Job Description:

Our Marketing specialist will work within the marketing department to help figure out ways to promote our line to Boutiques all over the world. A Marketing Specialist will perform a competitive analysis to determine what marketing strategies we need to implement. Marketing Specialist will need to prepare marketing materials for Bridal Markets, organize photo shoots, update our website and will be responsible for overseeing the company’s social media pages. This may include writing posts, putting together analytical reviews, and implementing social media advertising campaigns. Marketing Specialists will work with other members of the marketing team such as SEO Specialists, Website Analytics Specialists, Design Specialists, or others to help ensure successful marketing campaigns.

In this technology-related position, the Intern can develop on-the-job experience in the areas of: Digital Marketing
