The Train Control and Monitoring System (TCMS) controls the train, gathers and monitors various signals from the subsystems. The TCMS acts as the “brain” of a train. In an Automated Test Environment, the Test Engineer will develop and execute test cases to validate the TCMS system, architecture, interfaces, and designs.

Accountabilities:

In an Automated Test Environment, the intern will develop and execute test cases according to the Software Requirement Specifications. The intern will also write/update test reports and related documentations. In an Agile Methodology, he/she will participate to the various scrum/Agile meetings.

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

• Studies in Computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Good knowledge of computer systems:
  • Linux OS
  • Windows OS
  • Scripting languages
  • Web application
  • SQL Databases
  
  

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira
• Knowledge in VMWare and its configurations
• Knowledge in networking and security of computer systems:
• Ethernet, WiFi, Firewall, VPN.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
