Overview
Clean Harbors is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst Intern to join our team. Help build reporting and metrics that provide visibility into what drives our supply chain. You will develop insights that lead to a greater understanding of inventory movement and will also help us optimize product flow within the network. Ultimately you will help us lower our total cost to serve our customers and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Help create new metrics to evaluate how well our in-stock performance is for various LOB's given current lead times
- Use system data in SQL to create Power BI dashboards that are clear to users in the field
- Evaluate how our Packaging sites and Oil terminals are fulfilling Distribution Center demand
- Evaluate how well Distribution centers are fulfilling branch demand
- Evaluate how well branches are fulfilling customer demand
- Establish a process to track how quickly we are fulfilling e-commerce requests
- Determine any short-comings and inconsistencies that need to be addressed
- Enhance internal reports and KPI's
- Familiarize with current processes on team reporting.
- Create new visuals to keep our reporting fresh and ensure query optimization in SQL driven reports
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Pending Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
- Ability to multi-task, expedite, analyze, prioritize and work well interdepartmentally with all levels of management.
- Power BI & SQL experience
- Microsoft skills - Excel [Power Query/Pivot], Power Point, and Outlook
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Pro-active, self-starter who is flexible and possesses exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of MPS, MRP, DRP, and ERP systems.
- Experience in analytics, inventory, supply, production, materials planning, demand and forecasting
