We are seeking highly skilled Journeyman Structural Steel Fitters to join our fabrication team in Nisku on the night shift. The hours of work are from 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM Monday to Thursday.

What will you do:

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Lay out, prepare and assemble structural steel components for commercial, institutional and industrial steel erection projects
• Operate metalworking machines and use cutting torches to cut steel, drill or punch holes, roll, bend or press steel into a desired shape
• Assemble and fit metal sections and plates together to form complete units or sub-units
• Fasten components together by mechanical means or tack weld in preparation for a welder to complete the process
• Select and transport material to work area manually or using overhead crane

Who we're looking for:

• A journeyman Structural Steel Fitter/Metal Fabricator, or equivalent level of experience
• Reliable individual with great work ethics
• A team player with high commitment to safety, quality and productivity.
