Job Title: Storage and Backup Admin
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

• Experience with New Host Integration with Storage arrays.
• Experience with Installation and configuration of Multi-path software on hosts for load balancing and fail over.
• Expertise in managing Fiber Channel SAN infrastructure including fabric architecture,switch directors and zoning.
• Experience in Implementation and management Dell,Oracle enterprise and mid-tier Storage subsystems.
• Experience in RAID Configurations and Disk management tools.
• Experience in Performing Health Check of storage arrays and switches.
• Experience in Performing storage allocation based on the server requirement.
• Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis of Storage arrays.
• Experience in remote replication and local replication concepts
• Experience in Configuring different Storage devices to help Clients to Backup their Data in the most efficient way , that will help them to Restore the Mission Critical Data as and when required .
• Experience with Installations& Configurations of Backup master and media servers.
• Experience with Implementation of Backup in a Cluster Environment
• Experience with Implementation of Backup in a SAN environment .
• Experience with Configuration of different types of Robotic Library Configuring Storage Units , Volume Pools & Disk Staging .
• Experience with Designing Policies, Multi-streaming and Multiplexing, Media and Device Management, Taking ORACLE and SAP specific backups, Catalog Consistency Check and NDMP Configuration..
• Configuration & troubleshooting VMware Consolidated backups
• Helping the client to install, configure and troubleshoot backup job definitions

Good to Have

• ITIL Certification
• Any Technical Certification
• Strong communication and interface skills.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Montreal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
